Recycling of cell phones

To care about the environment means also: to recycle properly old, no longer functioning cell phones, laptops, printers and the like (see list of products).

By the anticipated recycling fee (vRG), which you have paid at the purchase, you are entitled to environmentally correct recycling of your electronic equipment. SWICO Recycling takes therefore charge of your old equipment without costs and is responsible for ecologically correct recycling here in Switzerland. Just bring your electronic equipment to one of the 500 official SWICO centers or directly to the shops selling this type of electronic equipment in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. Tipp: Also CDs, printer cartridges etc. are welcome!

Environment protection and quality
Swico takes care that parts from electronic eqipments which can be recycled are returned into the circuit and that dangerous components are treated in the right way. In 2007 50'000 tons of material were recycled. The quality standards are controlled by the Federal Material Testing Authority.

Next year Swico Recycling celebrates the 15th anniversary of this return and recycling system which is unique in Europe!
