The climate belongs to all of us

In Copenhagen the negotiations about the new climate contract are in the final stage. WWF climate expert Patrick Hofstetter reports «live», how things are. You may pose your questions directly.

Many thousands are gathered in Copenhagen, to decide about a follow up of the Kyoto-protocol or report about it. Time is short. The longer the world waits with effective climate protection, the more the warming, the more unpredictable the consequences and the higher the costs.

This is why WWF and other environmental organisations participate in Copenhagen. They have proposed a fair, effective and scientific model, they do a lot of lobbying in the back-ground and participate in the negotiation. Patrick Hofstetter, leader climate policy of WWF Switzerland, is representing environmental organisations in the official Swiss delegation. In today's chat he answers all questions about COP and climate.
:: Take Action!

Whatever the outcome in Copenhagen: Climate protection will have to be put to practice on our every day lives.
