December 22 to experience the mountain forest directly When volunteers above 18 years spend a project week in the mountain forest to plant trees, build roads and do other works under professional guidance – then it is due to the foundation mountain forest. Today a few persons report about their direct nature experiences. «Only on the way back to 'civilisation' I have realised how much this week has impressed me, what a strong feeling the touch of mother nature and its mud caused for me the city dweller» «I have done meaningful and hard work, learned a lot about myself, the forest and the connections; I have experienced ups and downs on extremely steep slopes. I have met like minded, extraordinary and phantastic persons, have laughed, eaten, lived and made inspiring experiences. I have also brought home insect bites – and the conviction that I'll go there once more!» These were the words of a participant of the project week in Fanas (Grisons).
