Soon there will be Christmas. All look forward to receive presents. Especially children look forward to toys – Particularly if they have interactive light, sound or motion functions. But what happens to old toys? They are lying around or thrown away – what a pity because parts could be reused. What to do?

SENS cares about recycling of used equipment and shows you, dear parents, grand parents, godfathers and godmothers how to dispose of toys with electronic components and batteries:

SENSIs tip of the day: There is no charge! At the collection points of SENS or in your town and where the toys are sold. You have already paid the recycling fee when you purchased the toy (!). Your contribution to environment protection saves you the garbage fee; furthermore you may soon be the owner of new toys made from recycled material. So: At regular intervals take old or broken toys with light, sound or motion functions from the children's room to the recycling points. Leave the batteries: the recyclers will take them out.

And now you are astonished! The iron of commodities recycled by SENS Switzerland would be sufficient to build at least three Eiffel towers each year! Bring back makes SENS! Tell all, how you dispose of broken toys correctly and encourage others to do the same thing. Questions? On the SENS website you learn more.
